Quill Peptides supplies research-use-only materials to qualified laboratory, business and institutional buyers. Before entering this site, every visitor is asked to confirm a short set of statements. This page sets out what those statements mean and what we record when you confirm them.

1. Research use only

All materials offered on this site are supplied strictly as chemical reagents for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices. They are not supplied for human use, for veterinary use, or for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose, and they must not be administered to humans or to animals.

Nothing on this site should be read as a description of a health benefit, a treatment, or a use in humans. Where a compound's name is well known outside a laboratory context, its appearance in our catalogue is not an endorsement of that context.

2. Who may enter and purchase

By entering you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older, that you are accessing the site for laboratory research purposes only, and that you are acting for a business, laboratory or institutional research purpose rather than as a consumer.

We may decline or cancel any order, and may ask for evidence of an institutional or business purpose before supplying certain items. Some categories of the catalogue require an account before they can be viewed.

3. Your responsibilities as the recipient

You are responsible for handling, storing, labelling and disposing of these materials in accordance with the law and with the safety rules that apply where you work, and for ensuring that anyone who handles them on your behalf is qualified to do so. You are responsible for confirming that receiving and using them is lawful in your jurisdiction. Onward supply to any party who intends human or veterinary use is a breach of these terms.

4. Product information and analytical data

Purity and identity figures, certificates of analysis and reference data are provided as received from testing and are for the identification and handling of the material as a reagent. They are not a qualification of the material for any use in humans or animals.

5. What we record when you confirm

When you confirm the entry statements we record the date and time, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, which individual statements you confirmed, the version of the wording you were shown, and — if you are signed in or have a cart — the associated account or cart reference. If you place an order, an acknowledgement is recorded against that order.

We keep these records so that we can demonstrate, for any given date, what a visitor was asked and what they confirmed. They are retained as a compliance record, are not used for marketing, and are not sold or shared except where we are required to produce them. 6. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Where a revision changes the substance of what you are being asked to confirm, a new version of the entry statements is issued and you will be asked to confirm again on your next visit. Your earlier acknowledgement continues to record the version you were originally shown.

7. If you cannot confirm

If any of the entry statements is not true for you, choose Leave. Do not enter the site and do not attempt to purchase.
